New in 2021.3: Improved Browser Security and new Business Emergency Kit licenses
Emsisoft Emergency Kit, the world’s first and only fully portable dual-engine malware scanner, can be used to quickly clean infected third-party devices. It’s free for personal use and can be easily created with a couple of clicks from within Emsisoft’s protection software.
In 2021.3, we’ve created two new attractive license plans that replace the previously available ‘Emsisoft Emergency Kit Pro’ plan:
New Emsisoft Business Emergency Kit
This license is designed for IT service technicians who regularly scan and clean their in-house or third-party devices. Licensing is per service shop. Companies that wish to use Emsisoft at multiple service shops will require a separate license for each shop (i.e., chain stores).
Emsisoft Business Emergency Kit is suitable for small and medium-sized businesses with up to 50 Windows devices per location. The license costs US$199 per year.
New Emsisoft Enterprise Emergency Kit
This license is designed for larger organizations with more than 50 Windows devices that wish to scan and clean their in-house devices. It is a cost-efficient option and available by inquiry only.
What’s included: 2 in 1
- Emsisoft’s award-winning portable dual-engine scanner.
- Emsisoft Commandline Scanner, which features all the functionality of the regular scanner. It’s optimized for high-volume scans and is regarded as an industry leader in terms of usability and completeness.
Both scanners work on Windows 10 x64 systems.

Improved Browser Security
You can now block or allow certain websites throughout your organization by setting up centralized rules in your group protection policies with the improved Emsisoft Browser Security.
Emsisoft Browser Security is an extension for Chrome, Firefox and Edge that blocks access to fraudulent and malicious websites. It comes free with all of our security solutions.
With our latest update, you can now define “block” and “allow” lists for the extension from within the main application window and through Emsisoft Management Console. Rules can also be optionally specified as powerful RegEx matching patterns.
Emsisoft Management Console
Emsisoft Cloud Console is now Emsisoft Management Console!
To better reflect the remote management capabilities of our award-winning web-console, we have renamed Cloud Console to Management Console.
With Management Console, you can manage the security of your company’s or clients’ endpoints with ease, and access the exact same information and perform the exact same tasks as you could onsite.

How to obtain the new version
As always, so long as you have auto-updates enabled in the software, you will receive the latest version automatically during your regularly scheduled updates, which are hourly by default.
Note to Enterprise users: If you have chosen to receive “Delayed” updates in the Update settings for your clients, they will receive the new software version no earlier than 30 days after the regular “Stable” availability. This gives you time to perform internal compatibility tests before a new version gets rolled out to your clients automatically.
Have a great and well-protected day!
